  • [60] Charest was assigned by Order in Council P.C. 1986-1611 of June 30, 1986, a Minister of State, to assist the Secretary State of Canada in the carrying out of his responsibilities relating to the youth of Canada.
  • [61] Danis was assigned by Order in Council P.C. 1990-403 of February 23, 1990, a Minister of State, to assist the Minister of National Health and Welfare in respect of fitness and amateur sport. Order in Council P.C. 1990-407 also assigned him to assist the Minister of Employment and Immigration in respect of the youth of Canada. He was given the title "Minister of State (Youth) (Fitness and Amateur Sport)".
  • [62] Cadieux was assigned by Order in Council P.C. 1991-759 of April 21, 1991, a Minister of State, (a) to assist the Minister of National Health and Welfare in respect of fitness and amateur sport, and (b) to assist the Minister of Employment and Immigration in respect of the youth of Canada. He was given the title "Minister of State (Youth) (Fitness and Amateur Sport)".
